Aura Lee (Love Me Tender)

You've probably heard this melody before, just with different words. “Aura Lee” was written in 1861 and became a favorite marching song for soldiers on both sides of the Civil War. Almost a hundred years later, Elvis Presley borrowed the tune, wrote new lyrics, and turned it into “Love Me Tender” — one of the biggest hits of his career.
