Yiddish songs, like this one, tend to be in minor keys, but that doesn't mean they are sad or dark. In fact they are frequently joyful--see the smiles on the faces of the singers in the videos I have posted. This version never wavers from a C hand position and has an E-flat written as an accidental (another version appears in Level 2). Note the interesting pattern in the left hand--being aware of it may help in playing it.
