I Love a Lassie

When I saw the words to “I Love a Lassie” I thought it would be the perfect song for Valentine’s Day. Like many love songs, it conveys the simple message, “I love you.”

Sir Harry Lauder—described by Sir Winston Churchill as “Scotland’s greatest ever ambassador”—composed and performed this song back around 1905.
